  • For candidate and employee data processed through our platform on behalf of client organisations, Symulate acts as a Data Processor.

Client organisations using the Symulate platform act as the Data Controller for assessment data.

Symulate Platform Users

Symulate uses AI-supported analysis to help interpret responses within realistic, work-based simulations. These tools are designed to enhance consistency, scalability and insight.

AI-assisted analysis supports structured human evaluation. Final hiring or development decisions are made by authorised decision-makers within the client organisation.

Symulate does not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement.

Individuals may request further information about how their data has been processed.

 

5. Legal Basis for Processing

For website data, our legal bases include:

  • Legitimate interests (business development and service improvement)
  • Consent (where required, including cookies and marketing communications)
  • Contractual necessity (where relevant)

For platform data, processing is carried out on behalf of client organisations under contractual agreement.
